Neighborhoods

Altus Homes is comprised of five distinct neighborhoods and serves Active Duty military personnel stationed at Altus Air Force Base. Select neighborhoods are also open to other qualified applicants, as indicated below. We invite you to explore the Altus AFB Homes neighborhoods and learn more about the various home styles and features available in each area.

Capehart

Baths: 2 – 3
Eligibility: E1 – E6; E9; O1 – O4; military retirees; DOD employees

The Capehart neighborhood includes a variety of two, three and four-bedroom homes featuring a garage, master suite and ample closets and storage space. Families in Capehart enjoy a walkable neighborhood located close to L. Mendel Rivers Elementary School, a destination park, tot lots, the Shoppette, BX and Commissary.
